Diani Beach Paradise

Diani Beach Paradise

Some people say that a beach is just a beach… they have never walked along a beach beside the brilliant clarity and sparkling waters of the Coast of Kenya.

Just imagine yourself lazing on this beach, enjoying the soothing, warmth of the Kenyan sun on your back as you listen to the waves breaking peacefully on the idyllic stretches of the warm, clean sand.

Come on… don’t you deserve a real holiday, not just a break, but something to remember and cherish for the rest of your lives?

The beautiful Swahili Coast of Kenya captures the beauty of our world with its brilliant and bright colours.   History has seen fit to have the great explorers such as Vasco de Gama and Diego Amerigos leave monuments from their visits to Kenya’s shores.  The Gedi ruins from the 17th Century still remain today.   No visit to Kenya can be complete without going to this magnificent coastline.

Mombasa is Kenya’s  second largest city and oldest dating back 2000 years.  The 16th Century Portuguese Fort Jesus remains testment of history through the african ages.   The myriad of ancient and modern blending cultures and traditions create a potpourri of romanticism and practicality that prove to be irresistible.

Kenya’s coral reef presents an inner universe of beauty and magnificent colourful coral.   The Marine National Parks are home to  Kenya’s unique marine life and the preservation of

Young Morans

No visit to the Magnificent Masai Mara would be complete without meeting my Masai friends.  I arrange with the village chief when we would like to go and visit the established Manyatta.  Driving through the Mara bush we are taken to meet the young Morans who welcome us with a traditional dance and singing.  Have your cameras ready.   These are the new young Masai, welcome you in and they eagerly show you how they live, where they live, inviting you into the handmade huts and explaining they unique and simple  way of life and their attachment with the ecology in which they live.  The Masai tribes people are curious about you and where you come from.  So be prepared for lots of questions.   The womenfolk come out to greet you with songs and dancing, after which they eagerly will invite you to come and buy from their Market.  The Masai love to discuss with you the price to pay, their custom dictates that you interact with the negotiation, finally coming to an agreed price for your genuine hand made Masai ornament/jewellery.
